Gianluca Ambrogio

Gianluca is a category 3 racer who joined the Los Gatos Bicycle Racing Club in 2023.

His interests are Mountain and Gravel Bike racing & riding.

When asked how he became interested in cycling, he responds,"I grew up on the bike and at 10 years old it was my way to explore new parts of my town. One day I decided with my friends to do a longer than usual exploration of unbeaten path of my small town. That unique Epic ride that lasted a full day was the start of my journey into cycling and I continued riding more and more every day."

He continues, "I was introduced to racing at a considerably "old age" 20. At 21 I was able to achieve my best result in getting on the podium at the road regional championship in Lazio (Italy)."

He adds, "I've been a business developer and Product/Proejct Manager. The startup that I launched at 25 years old allowed me to gain so much experience in the tech industry that today I can easily wear multiple hats in day-to-day business operations."

"It's definitely harder to be consistent and find the time to train appropriately once you have family. But I don't give up and I want to continue competing in off-roads events as much and harder as I can."
